Junior Marcus Paige Commits to Carolina
Posted Jan 9, 2011
North Carolina has landed a 2012 point guard. Marcus Paige of Marion (Iowa) Linn-Mar announced his decision on Saturday night. "At this time I would like to announce that I have accepted a scholarship offer from Coach Roy Williams to continue my career as a student-athlete at the University of North Carolina," Paige, a 6-1, 160-pound prospect, stated in a press release. He chose UNC over offers from Kansas, Iowa State and most of the Big Ten. Roy Williams offered a scholarship last month during Paige's Chapel Hill visit.
