The Tar Heels have now won consecutive games in which they trailed by double figures in the second half. UNC trailed Virginia, 32-43, with 13:43 to play and won, 62-56 on Jan. 8, 2011. Kendall Marshall tied his season high with nine assists and scored nine points, his most since he had 10 against Lipscomb in the opening game.
