Harrison Barnes, who came to Chapel Hill with the expectations of a preseason All-American on his shoulders, has averaged 11.8 points, bored some to sleep with his OK performances and even yawned before Thursday's Virginia Tech game. But Barnes flashed his potential in the second half of the game, scoring eight of his 12 points in the final 3 1/2 minutes to lift the Tar Heels to a 64-61 win.
