ACC laden with big men
Posted Jan 16, 2011
Although the ACC has been plagued his season with its teams' failure to beat quality non-conference opponents, a lack of talented bigs hasn't been the issue. "It's a year where the big people in the league are playing very well," UNC coach Roy Williams said. Williams is one of three ACC coaches counting on a low-post player as the first option in his offense. Tyler Zeller, a 7-foot junior, leads the Tar Heels in scoring at 14.6 points per game.
