Kendall Marshall gains confidence on defense


Over the holiday break, North Carolina point guard was playing one-on-one against a friend back home in Virginia. Growing up, this smaller, quicker friend could always drive past Marshall, he said, but times had changed. Marshall's pal, all of a sudden, could not get around him. "It gave me confidence that this defense stuff really works," the UNC freshman reserve said, grinning. (Raleigh News & Observer)
