Yet North Carolina found enough in its tank Tuesday night to ensure that a unique piece of historical perfection endured. Riding defensive intensity generated by a suddenly energized effort, the Tar Heels de-clawed Clemson down the stretch to win 75-65 in ACC basketball at the Smith Center.
