Harrison Barnes adjusts to life as a Tar Heel

It’s hard for Harrison Barnes to think just a year ago he was attending Ames High. The former prep star, who led Ames High to back-to-back 4A titles, holds the school record with 1,787 career points and finished his prep career on a 53-0 stretch, is now fully ingrained in life at the University of North Carolina. “Things have gone well both athletically and academically,” Barnes said in a phone interview last week.
