Kendric Burney to play in Senior Bowl

Cornerback believes this is the chance he’s waited for since he played his final game for the University of North Carolina last month. Burney, a former Southwest High School standout, will play in the 2011 Senior Bowl on Jan. 29 in Mobile, Ala. “I think playing in the Senior Bowl is a great opportunity,” Burney said in a telephone interview Thursday.
