Butch Davis proved he could coach under difficult circumstances during the 2010 season. On Wednesday, the North Carolina head coach showed once again he can also recruit in less than ideal conditions. Despite operating in the aftermath of a double-edged investigation into his program, Davis secured a 25-man recruiting class that's ranked among the nation's best as college football national signing period began.
