Thorpe, offensive tackle Kiaro Holts and linebacker Travis Hughes are all ESPNU 150 players and ranked among the top 15 in the country at their respective positions. Analysis: You’d never know UNC is facing possible NCAA sanctions by looking at this class. It’s loaded with talent (11 four-star recruits), hit all of the biggest needs and should keep the progress going under coach Butch Davis.
