Linebacker Shakeel Rashad commits to UNC for class of 2012
Posted Feb 3, 2011
The 2012 class needed little time to get going. Episcopal junior linebacker Shakeel Rashad committed to North Carolina on Thursday. "North Carolina is where his heart is at," Episcopal coach David Hess said. "He's been looking at them for a year now. He'll bring aggressiveness and great strength as far as a run stopper to their defense. He also has very good range." The 6-foot-2, 225-pound Rashad is expected to graduate in December and be an early enrollee at UNC next January.
