Point guard Larry Drew II leaving UNC
Posted Feb 4, 2011
North Carolina point guard Larry Drew II has left the 23rd-ranked Tar Heels and is transferring, a source close to the situation confirmed today. The stunning move comes days after the junior ball-handler recorded nine assists and only one turnover during UNC’s blowout win at Boston College – and four games after he was replaced in the starting lineup by freshman Kendall Marshall.
