Roy Williams, Tar Heels blindsided by guard Larry Drew's departure


Just 2 1/ 2weeks ago, on the night II lost his job as North Carolina's starting point guard, he did his best to take a positive path through a distressing situation. Drew played 23 minutes that night, was named the Tar Heels' Defensive Player of the Game, showed few outward signs of disappointment and helped Carolina thump Clemson, 75-65, at the Smith Center.
