Week Ahead: Carolina, Duke put their guards on the table

As we approach this season’s first meeting between these two fierce rivals, Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET (ESPN), they appear to be positioned to stage an enthralling, consequential ACC basketball game. Duke remains first in the ACC, but Carolina is in second and tied in the loss column. It hasn’t been all that long since the Tar Heels won in Cameron Indoor Stadium where Wednesday night’s game will be played.
