Tar Heels Denied at Cameron
Posted Feb 10, 2011
No. 20 North Carolina refused to accept its role as a young team frightened by the monster that is Cameron Indoor Stadium, but a 16-point first-half lead wasn’t enough as Duke rallied behind Nolan Smith’s career-high 34 points to claim a 79-73 victory over the upstart Tar Heels. Tyler Zeller led UNC with 24 points and also grabbed 13 rebounds, while John Henson posted 14 points and 12 rebounds.
