Tar Heels dispatch Deacons 78-64
Posted Feb 15, 2011
No. 19 North Carolina didn’t shoot particularly well, didn’t post a fast-break point until the second half, and didn’t make many 3-pointers (again). But against Wake Forest on Tuesday night at the Smith Center, it didn’t really matter. The Tar Heels (19-6, 9-2 in the ACC) easily dispatched the Demon Deacons 78-64 at the Smith Center, marking the seventh win in their last eight games. Wake has now lost five in a row.
