Update on Shabazz Muhammad, Rosco Allen and Ben Carter

Tar Heel Times contributor Coach Bill (Twitter | Web site) submitted this interesting information Wednesday regarding 2012 UNC shooting guard target and his Bishop Gorman teammates and Ben Carter:

I had a conversation with Ron Holmes ('s dad) earlier today. He specifically reached out to me with interest of having me spread word to UNC fans, stating, "Let the folks know UNC is doing well with Shabazz. They are on him HARD!"

Shabazz and his dad haven't made a decision yet, but they want to attend March 5th game vs Duke.

Here is a link Mr Holmes provided me as well regarding Bishop Gorman's playoff game Tuesday: http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2011/feb/15/shabazz-muhammad-bishop-gorman/

Also, (2012 PF, 6'9", 205) is all set to attend the March 5th game against Duke. In last night's playoff game, he had 15 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds.

Ben Carter (2012 PF, 6'8", 205, also on UNC's radar) had 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks, and was 2-2 from the 3-point line...and apparently he spent the majority of game guarding the opponent's point guard (impressive at 6'8").
