Inside the recruitment of Adjehi Baru

Adjehi Baru is full of surprises. Ask North Carolina head coach . Ask the rest of the Atlantic Coast Conference, Dick Vitale and the college basketball world in general. Baru, a tenacious and sculpted 6-foot-9-inch, 224-pound native of the Ivory Coast, rocked the sport in December when he rejected scholarship offers from North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia Tech and dozens of other elite programs to sign a letter of intent with the College of Charleston.
