UNC notes: Dexter Strickland shoots out of slump

When North Carolina guard Dexter Strickland’s first field goal fell in Wednesday night, it was a relief for the sophomore. When several more followed, it was a relief for his team. After going 0-for-9 with four points, combined, in his previous three games, Strickland went 5-for-8, with 13 points, during the 19th-ranked Tar Heels’ 75-63 win at N.C. State.
