All tied up atop ACC after Tar Heels beat Maryland

The No. 19 Tar Heels wake up this morning tied for first place in the ACC with a week left until the end of the regular season. Sunday night, the Tar Heels looked the part of league title contenders, dispatching visiting Maryland 87-76. The victory had the feel of a focused effort from a team that knows it’s within reach of something big. “We’ve been saying there’s some hardware on the line, we need to start playing like it,” John Henson said.
