Tar Heels undefeated at home, beat Maryland
Posted Feb 28, 2011
When North Carolina visited Maryland last year, the result wasn’t pretty. The Terrapins rolled over the Tar Heels, 92-71, and solidified their second-place standing in the ACC. A little more than a year later, it’s a different story. UNC (22-6, 12-2 ACC) took down Maryland (19-10, 7-7 ACC) 87-76 and matched Duke with a conference record of 12-2.
