Kent Emanuel Settling In
Posted Mar 2, 2011
Only two weeks into his freshman season, North Carolina pitcher Kent Emanuel has secured his spot in the rotation. The Woodstock, Ga. native threw nine strikeouts in eight innings on Tuesday, leading No. 17 North Carolina (7-1) to a 4-2 win over the Charlotte 49ers (7-2). The slender 6-4 southpaw wears a relaxed smile, but at his core burns a competitive spirit.
