Jesse Wierzbicki blasted his second home run of the season, and Cody Stiles earned his first career victory as North Carolina's 17th-ranked baseball team claimed a 14-6 win over Davidson on Wednesday in Chapel Hill. North Carolina (8-1) broke it open against Davidson (5-6) with a five-run third inning, taking an 8-2 lead. (Raleigh News & Observer)
