Harrison Barnes shares No. 40 with father

Harrison Barnes has always fancied jersey No. 40, he says, because it once belonged to Fred Hoiberg, who preceded him as a star at Ames (Iowa) High School by a couple of decades and later became one of the best and most popular players in Iowa State history — and eventually the Cyclones' coach. "I didn't know when I got it," Barnes says, "that my father had worn No. 40, too." (USA Today)
