Kendall Marshall went from second-string to leading the ACC in assists, leading his team to a 12-1 record after taking over the starting spot. Marshall downplays his role in UNC's turnaround, calling it a "coincidence," but the freshman point guard has clearly been a difference-maker for a Carolina team that has rapidly ascended to a No. 6 ranking in the most recent AP poll.
