The Tar Heels won their last seven games and 17 of the last 19 and stopped Duke 81-67 in their regular-season finale to claim first place. UNC is the No. 1 seed for the ACC Tournament, and has maneuvered into position for a No. 1 or No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Others might not have anticipated the resurgence. Sophomore guard Dexter Strickland isn't among them.
