Horrible half leaves NCSU with fleeting chance at win
Posted Jan 13, 2008
Twenty-four of 65 from the field. Four of 15 from 3-point range. Outrebounded 50 to 34. Five more turnovers. Nine shots blocked. The Wolfpack lost to the North Carolina Tar Heels, 93-62, on Saturday, but the score at halftime was truly the story – 43-13. As bad of a 20 minutes N.C. State has ever played, which led to the worst loss to North Carolina in 14 years, since Les Robinson.
