It’s not unusual for players to mill around outside the coliseum after games while they wait for a ride back to the hotel. Until then, they’ll usually sign an autograph or three. I ran into Carolina point guard Kendall Marshall, who had the game-winning assist over Miami, and asked if he’d take a picture. He draped an arm over my shoulder and softly answered: “Yes, sir.”
