Marcus Paige leads team to state title game
Posted Mar 12, 2011
As usual, Marcus Paige was at the core of Linn-Mar’s success. The junior point guard, who has committed to play at North Carolina, scored 12 points during a 23-0 run that seemed to cement a Lion victory, then added eight fourth-quarter points after the pesky young Trojans cut what was a 42-15 deficit to 50-42. Linn-Mar coach Chris Robertson said Paige has lost the power to surprise him.
