LB commit Shakeel Rashad will enroll in January
Posted Mar 15, 2011
When Shakeel Rashad, the 6-foot-2, 215-pounder, committed to North Carolina, it was because the Tar Heels always stuck out. "I narrowed it down to three schools -- North Carolina, South Carolina and Duke. I made a list of the pros and cons of every school and the one that emerged with no cons was North Carolina. They had everything I wanted in a school. The players, the coaches, the campus and the education -- it was all there. I didn't want to leave Chapel Hill when I got there."
