Big Dance new ground for current Tar Heels


North Carolina provides one of the benchmarks for the NCAA Tournament with its record 18 Final Four appearances. Yet the Tar Heels won’t be bubbling with experience when they take the court tonight against Long Island for their first NCAA Tournament game in more than 23 months. “I never really experienced anything to this extent,” Tar Heels sophomore forward said Thursday.
