'Dadgum memorabilia' leaves Williams in stitches

Posted Jan 12, 2008

Roy Williams tripped over a cord in his office and fell into a door before a scheduled news conference Friday, requiring five stitches to close a gash on his scalp. North Carolina's coach had to cancel the interview session, where he was to talk about today's game between the Tar Heels and N.C. State, but he attended practice wearing a USA Basketball hat and will coach against the Wolfpack today at noon. (Durham Herald-Sun)
