In Leslie McDonald’s imagination, Friday night’s 102-87 victory against Long Island was far from his first brush with March Madness. The UNC sophomore said that while growing up, backyard pickup games were often for pretend NCAA Tournament stakes. “You watch on television and you see Michael Jordan and people playing the NCAA Tournament so you put yourself in that situation,” McDonald said.
