Tar Heels race past Blackbirds to advance

When 15th-seeded Long Island University tied second-seeded North Carolina midway through the first half of Friday's NCAA Tournament game, a murmur went through the crowd. But UNC didn't panic and turned to its post players to take advantage of their size, and Tyler Zeller, John Henson and Harrison Barnes combined to score 84 points to help the Tar Heels put away the pesky Blackbirds 102-87.
