Column: Harrison Barnes shows a killer instinct
Posted Mar 19, 2011
I always had one concern with Harrison Barnes in high school. He never took over games. I saw Barnes put up 20-plus point performances time and again, but it was always within the framework of the offe 27-point games you would ever see. Rarely, did he dominate a game. Rarely, did he assert himself. Rarely, did a killer instinct emerge, where he took his put away an opponent. I wondered if he had it in him to do those things. I wonder about it no more.
