North Carolina's Williams and Washington's Romar wage friendly competition
Posted Mar 20, 2011
The Tar Heels and Huskies meet Sunday with a Sweet 16 berth at stake, but right now, the Case of the Daggum Ice Cream is of utmost importance. Roy Williams alleges that, during a USA Basketball function last summer, he was forced to buy Lorenzo Romar's ice cream because the coach didn't bring any money. Romar claims that Williams "begged me to walk to the store with him to go get ice cream" and offered to buy.
