Ari Stewart has been granted his release from Wake Forest

Ari Stewart has played his last game of basketball at Wake Forest. Coach Jeff Bzdelik said Tuesday that Stewart has asked for and been granted a release from the Wake Forest basketball program. The development is not a surprise after Stewart was suspended for last week’s ACC Tournament for what Bzdelik described as a need to get his academic affairs in order. (Winston-Salem Journal)
