Tyler Hansbrough went last night where others feared to go, delivering two baskets that helped North Carolina outlast determined UNC Asheville 93-81 at the Smith Center. Hansbrough, North Carolina’s All-America center, dunked over Kenny George, UNC Asheville’s 7-7, 360-pound center, early in the second half to spark an 18-point lead after George made going into the lane a risk for anyone.
