North Carolina trounces Marquette at The Rock

Posted Mar 25, 2011
Buzz Williams called timeout one minute into the second half after North Carolina had opened the period with two consecutive fast-break baskets against his Marquette team. Jae Crowder promptly had his inbounds pass intercepted by Carolina’s Dexter Strickland, who turned the miscue into an uncontested dunk, and a 31-point lead. That sequence summed up the evening for 11th-seeded Marquette. (The Record)
