No. 2 seed North Carolina earned its fourth trip in five years to the Elite Eight the easy way, closing the first half on a 32-5 run and eventually building a 32-point lead over No. 11 seed Marquette with a little more than 18 minutes to play. Tyler Zeller led North Carolina with 27 points and also grabbed 12 rebounds, while Harrison Barnes added 20 points and nine rebounds, including seven offensive boards.
