If the first 24 minutes of Friday’s game didn’t satisfy anyone with a rooting interest in the Tar Heels, nothing will. Marquette coach Buzz Williams called three timeouts during a decisive 19-0 run in the first half, but those did nothing to stop the onslaught. The score reached 40-15 at halftime, and 51-18 with 16:45 remaining.
