Bulldogs hang with Heels


The talk today will no doubt be of ’s dunk over 7-foot-7 Kenny George. What you won’t see on countless replays is how the UNC Asheville men’s basketball team was able to hang tough throughout its game against top-ranked North Carolina. The Bulldogs fell to the Tar Heels 93-81 on Wednesday night at the Smith Center, but not before they stayed within striking distance during the final minutes. (Asheville Citizen-Times)
