Due praise heaped on UNC's Shelton


It's all come together lately for Carolina's . The field hockey coach at UNC for 27 years, Shelton led the Tar Heels to their fifth national championship this season. Friday, she was selected as the National Coach of the Year, and one day later Shelton was inducted into the Hall of Fame. There could be no doubt Shelton was fully deserving of both honors.
