Roy Williams scouts Bronson Koenig in LaCrosse
Posted Mar 31, 2011
UNC basketball coach Roy Williams paid a visit to LaCrosse Wednesday, watching recruit Bronson Koenig take part in an open gym session at Aquinas High School. Koenig, considered to be one of Wisconsin's top high school recruits, has already been offered a scholarship by the Tar Heels. As a sophomore, Koenig averaged 16.6 points per game, helping lead Aquinas to the WIAA Division 3 state championship. Earlier this year, Williams and North Carolina landed another Wisconsin recruit in Menomonee Falls junior J.P. Tokoto.
