Q-and-A with Buzz Peterson, part 1

I met Peterson in his office last Friday and asked him about a variety of subjects – offensive and defensive philosophies, ball screens, rotations and recruiting, and yes, how long he hopes to coach at UNCW. Some of the best material came forth on the fringes of the questions, such as his admiration for the way Belmont coach Rick Byrd managed an 11-man rotation this season: “I don’t how you can do all that substitutin’, coach and then you got the referees to deal with. That’s an unbelievable job.” (Wilmington Star News)
