Giovani Bernard waits for chance with Heels


As UNC's running back group was hit with suspensions and injuries last season, freshman could only watch helplessly on the sidelines after tearing the ACL in his right knee on the third day of training camp. But even though the 5-10, 200-pounder said there were plenty of times he thought he could come in and help the team if he was healthy, he's just happy to back on the field this spring.
