Shabazz Muhammad, one of the nation’s most coveted 2012 basketball recruits, was being recruited hard at a recent all-star game by current Duke commits Alex Murphy and Rasheed Sulaimon. UNLV hired Dave Rose, who just happens to be the brother of Muhammad’s high school coach. Defensive tackle J.J. Patterson, a talented lineman, will be going to UNC. Desmond Hubert, one of the few remaining quality big men in the Class off 2011, visited UNC last weekend and plans to choose between the Tar Heel and Maryland sometime this week.
