Woody Durham hanging up the headset

After more than 40 years and 1,800 football and men's basketball games, Woody Durham, UNC's Hall of Fame play-by-play radio announcer, is stepping away from the microphone. Durham, who has been the "voice of the Tar Heels" since 1971, will make his retirement official today at a 10 a.m. news conference at the Smith Center, the school announced on Tuesday.
