Miami Hurricanes likely to hire George Mason coach Jim Larranaga

Jim Larranaga, the charismatic men’s basketball coach who led George Mason to an improbable Final Four run in 2006, likely will be named the next coach at the University of Miami. A deal could be reached as early as Friday, according to sources with knowledge of the search. (Miami Herald)
