LB Trey Edmunds nominated for U.S. Army All-American Bowl
Posted Apr 22, 2011
Trey Edmunds didn’t expect anything out of the ordinary to happen during the final couple of hours at school Thursday. The highly recruited Dan River junior got a pleasant surprise when he received his official nomination for the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Most schools are recruiting Edmunds to play linebacker and, according to Rivals, there are seven schools currently expressing interest — Maryland, North Carolina, Oregon, Penn State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
